Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of UroMD LLC's ("UroMD," "we," "us") online platforms, including websites and mobile applications located at https://UroMD.com (the "Site"), as well as any services available through the Site ("Services"). The terms "You" and "Your" refer to any user who accesses the publicly available areas of the Site as a visitor ("Visitor") or as a patient ("Patient") who uses the Services through a link provided by their healthcare provider ("Provider").

This policy does not apply to Providers; their terms can be found at https://UroMD/terms-
of-service.

By accessing or using the Site and Services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this AUP and our Privacy Policy, available at https://UroMD/privacy-policy/.

  1. Ownership and Copyright
    All content on the Site—including text, images, videos, files, and documents—is owned by UroMD or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and internat onal intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, reproduce, or use any content without explicit written permission from UroMD.
  2. Authorized Use
    As a Patient, you must access Services exclusively via the unique link provided by your healthcare Provider. UroMD does not establish provider-patient relationships and is not responsible for interactions between Patients and Providers. Do not share protected health information (PHI) or personal identfiable information with UroMD except strictly for technical support purposes.
  3. Acceptable Use Guidelines
    You agree NOT to:
    • Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works from the Site or Services.
    • Upload or transfer unlawful content or material violating intellectual property rights.
    • Attempt unauthorized access or interfere with system security.
    • Introduce malicious software, including viruses or harmful scripts.
    • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Site.
    • Engage in actions that threaten Site integrity or security.
    UroMD reserves the right to investigate and collaborate with law enforcement if these guidelines are violated. Misuse may lead to civil or criminal penalties.
  4. Electronic Communications
    You consent to receive communications from your Provider electronically via UroMD’s Services. Your Provider ensures these communications comply with applicable laws, including electronic consents and disclosures.
  5. Security Measures
    You are responsible for maintaining security when using the Services. You must:
    • Use strong passwords and not share them.
    • Keep your computer and browser updated and secure.
    • Utilize antivirus and firewall software.
    • Avoid using the Services in unsecured public spaces.
    You agree to hold UroMD harmless for any claims arising from security breaches resulting from your actions or negligence.
  6. License and Access Rights
    UroMD grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Services in compliance with this AUP. Unauthorized commercial use or duplication of any Service or content is strictly prohibited. UroMD may terminate your access immediately upon violation of these terms.
  7. Third-Party Links
    UroMD is not responsible for content on external websites linked from the Site. Accessing such sites is entirely at your own risk.
  8. Warranty Disclaimer
    The Site and Services are provided "as is" without warranties. UroMD disclaims all implied or explicit warranties regarding functionality, accuracy, or uninterrupted service. You assume all responsibility and risk associated with your use of the Site and Services.
  9. No Medical, Professional, or Legal Advice
    UroMD solely provides a digital platform for communication between Patients and Providers and offers no medical, legal, or professional advice. UroMD does not assume responsibility for the accuracy or legality of Providers' services.
  10. Limitation of Liability
    UroMD is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Site or Services. Liability, if applicable by law, is limited to a maximum of fifty dollars ($50).
  11. Dispute Resolution
    Any disputes regarding this AUP will be settled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles, California under the laws of the State of California. You waive any right to a jury trial.
  12. Modifications and Termination
    UroMD may update this AUP periodically. Your continued use following updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy. UroMD reserves the right to terminate access to the Site or Services at its sole discretion, with or without notice.
  13. Indemnification
    You agree to indemnify and hold UroMD harmless from third-party claims, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, violations of this AUP, or unauthorized access attributable to your actions or negligence.
